I worked with Mallika to renovate my Villa in Bangalore. She did a fantastic job. The work involved fixing some of the issues with the constructions, interior design including wardrobes, bathroom, bedrooms, living room and the kitchen. She also helped in fixing the landscape. Mallika is one of the best interior designers we have worked with in India both in terms of innovation and execution. We had recently moved to India from the US and wanted to work with an interior designer who can not only understand our taste but bring along their own expertise and more importantly someone we can trust completely as we were not located in Bangalore and wanted the interior designer team to work independently.

We starting engaging with Mallika in Jan 2021 and she very quickly earned our trust with her design ideas and her willingness to spend time giving us various options and explaining them in details. Even though we were in a different city in India she went over each and every aspect of the design with us from sharing the layouts to doing multiple iterations based on our feedback and giving us updates on the budget and site all along as the project progressed. She has an excellent team who are completely trustworthy and can deliver quality work and craftsmanship even when we wanted unique items like antique solid wood furnitures with grill work or cane design which she and her team was able to custom build end to end for us. Mallika helped us every step of the way from picking out wardrobe or console designs to antique handles/knobs to fabrics for soft furnishings and curtains. The best part of working with her and her team is that they always welcome feedback and can very quickly address any snags small or large as they arise. Even when we were relocating I was using her and her team to manage various deliveries and appliance installation as I trust them to do the right thing without any supervision.

We had so many conversations about various aspects of interior designing and aesthetics on phone or video calls that Mallika always felt like a family member to us who we can always lean on for bouncing ideas. For us buying an apartment was the first step but with Mallika’s help we were able to convert it into a home we all loved! The place looked fantastic and everyone from our family members to friends were amazed at the creativity and uniqueness of the design created by Mallika.

Mallika is a highly gifted, intuitive and committed architect consultant. We brought her in to do our home that was a 12+ years old house. We wanted an old world theme with lots of interesting and useful spaces.. Mallika carefully reviewed all the spaces and worked through the details diligently to provide interesting makeover to every space from extending kitchen, bedroom, bath rooms to creating new spaces like indoor garden corridor. She remodeled our kitchen to make it truly elegant and spacious. Her mix of colors and material reflected the artist in her – from walls to wall tiles to floor tiles to cupboards – all were balanced for aesthetics and utility. The large spaces apart, even the minute things in window and balcony grills were given a critical eye. There were intense discussions where she would agree or convince us to do the right long term thing. She reviewed progress of the work with different teams and made sure all safety protocols were followed besides quality of output. She even visited outdoor locations to explore antique products to go with our home. We were truly pleased with the final product. It reflected our taste but more than that, Mallika’s design maturity.
